Citizens' Survey Committee
Summary
The advisory board will act as the voice of the citizens of Fulton County by getting an accurate view of public opinion via a survey created and disseminated by the board.
Create Survey
The advisory board is responsible for creating a short survey aimed at
- Obtaining community based suggestions to improve the police department. (example: Community/Police relations.)
- Identifying what the community knows about protecting their homes from burglaries.
- Get suggestions for improving the criminal justice system.
Disseminate Surveys
The board will identify community meetings where they will be responsible to completing the survey to obtain results from the entire Fulton County community.
Analyze Surveys
The information collected in the surveys should be compiled and reviewed by the board. Using the surveys the Board should create a short list of suggestions for the police department and any other identified Criminal Justice departments.
Present Findings
The information compiled will be presented to the appropriate parties. Presentations will include specific suggestions based on survey information.
